KSPtabs – That’s All I Need

"Pain, unlike anything I have ever felt." Hollie battled kidney stones for 19 years — here's how she finally found relief.

Pain, Unlike Anything I Have Ever Felt

It all started in May of 2000, when Hollie had her first kidney stone. She woke up at 2:30 AM feeling like she'd been stabbed — a pain unlike anything she'd ever experienced. Often compared to the pain of childbirth, kidney stones affect roughly 1 in 10 adults. Once you've had one kidney stone, there's about a 75% chance of recurrence. Hollie never thought she'd have another. Unfortunately, her wish didn't come true.

Searching for a Solution

Over the years, Hollie had quite a few surgeries and procedures to help manage her chronic kidney stones. She tried different diets, drank more water, and nothing seemed to help. Then she found a new urologist, Dr. Michael Trotter, who set her on the right track. Dr. Trotter introduced Hollie to a product he was developing to give patients a tool in the battle against kidney stones. She gave KSPtabs a try and started drinking them 2-4 times a day. During this time, she learned about kidney health and the importance of hydration.

"I never was a big water drinker, but KSPtabs has made that easier for me," said Hollie. "It makes me want to drink water. It's giving me the electrolytes plus the citrate and magnesium my body desperately needs."

Athletes and Kidney Stones

As a triathlete and self-described "stoner," optimal hydration is imperative to Hollie's kidney health. Dehydration is common in athletes because of sweat loss during a strenuous workout. When you exercise, you lose electrolytes, which can lead to dehydration — muscle cramps, decreased energy levels, and concentrated, dark yellow urine. Concentrated urine is like fuel for kidney stone formation. To avoid it, you should aim to drink enough water to produce around 2 liters of urine a day.

One interesting fact about kidney stones: they can form and sit in the body for years before they "move," which is when you actually know you have one. The pain may start as a dull ache that escalates to severe, sharp pain in your back or side, sometimes radiating to your lower abdomen or groin. At that point, seek immediate medical attention.

Stone Free

Hollie recently had a procedure and was told by her doctor that she's pretty much stone free after 19 years of battling kidney stones. "I genuinely think that has to do with the KSPtabs. The minute I wake up, I drop a KSPtab in my water," said Hollie. "As a triathlete, I run, bike, or swim every day. Once you form any habit, it's hard not to want to follow it, whether it's working out or drinking enough fluid."

Hollie no longer needs to keep pain medicine with her at all times. "My previous doctors had me carrying pain medicine when I traveled or was participating in an athletic event. I cannot tell you how happy I am for finally being able to go out and run without having to worry about the pain kidney stones cause. I carry KSPtabs. That's all I need."

Give Your Kidneys the Backup They Need

Hollie's results came from consistency — a habit built around one small daily step. Every KSPtabs tab delivers citrate, which binds to calcium in your urine first, leaving less free calcium behind for oxalate to combine with. It also delivers magnesium and vitamin B6 to help keep oxalate levels in check from the start, plus balanced sodium and potassium so your body actually holds onto the water you're drinking instead of it passing straight through.

The Trial Pack is the easiest way to find out if it works for you too — all three flavors (Key Lime, Very Berry, and Sunrise Citrus), so you can figure out your favorite before moving on to a monthly supply or subscription.
